Wiki Profile

Personality:

Tiki is the daughter of Naga, the god-like dragon that protects the world. This, as well as her ability to hear and speak for Naga’s spirit, has led her to being revered as a divine figure by most and a target of evil forces. Because of this, she has lead a sheltered life. As a child, she spent 500 years slumbering alone in a temple; however, due to Tiki possessing a sixth sense and a level of awareness during sleep, she distinctly remembers the 500 years of solitude, which was a major contributing factor to her fear of loneliness which is a recurring theme in her character.

This fear of loneliness is further influenced by her longevity: at 2,500 years, she has outlived all of her companions, including the few other manaketes (Xane, Gotoh, Bantu) she has known. This is brought up many times in her conversations (particularly with Nah and Nowi) and is a constant source of pain for her. This is particularly true concerning the death of Marth, who Tiki still has romantic feelings for after 2,000 years.

However, in spite of her fleeting friendships causing her so much pain, she craves them, perhaps influenced in part by her fear of being alone. This is difficult for her due to most people seeing her as a divine figure, leaving the people she would befriend to be distant, treat her as superior, and constantly worry about their behavior. This is a constant source of frustration that causes her to dislike her divinity. This is the focus of her supports with Say’ri: Tiki wanted a friend and not a servant, but Say’ri stuck firmly to her role as guard and attendant.

Despite the loneliness her status brings her, Tiki nonetheless sticks firmly to it. She understands how important she is to the people of the world as one of the near-extinct divine dragons and the Voice of Naga. During her conversations with Anna the merchant, Tiki thoroughly chastises Anna for profiting off of her divine status by selling her autograph and tickets to listen to speeches. Although she dislikes the rift her status puts between her and her friends, she never turns her back on her responsibilities.

Her 2,500 years of life has left her with another trait: she craves new experiences. As she mentions to Lucina, new experiences are hard for her to come by. Making new relationships helps sate this, but it also gives her a strong sense of curiosity. This occasionally causes trouble, as she will run off and cause others (particularly Say’ri) to worry about where she has gone. She has a few other childish characteristics that she has not grown out of even over 2,500 years: when confronted with someone frustrating her, she will occasionally blow raspberries, dodge their questions, and act spoiled (such as with Say’ri); she will also tease her friends (particularly the more serious ones, like Lucina and Say’ri) but she manages to be so deadpan that they take her literally; she also occasionally reverts to behaving as she had as a child when in the presence of Robin or Lucina, both of whom remind Tiki of Marth.

Another thing of note includes Tiki’s chronic sleepiness, which shows up in almost all of her supports with other characters. She sleeps long, is prone to falling asleep at any time and any place, and talks in her sleep. As mentioned before, she has a sense of awareness of the world even when asleep, so she is capable of holding conversations.

Appearance:

Abilities:

Tiki is a Manakete of the Divine Dragon clan. This allows her to transform into a dragon. Although her appearance changes considerably in different games, the abilities are generally the same. In this form, she is capable of flight, spewing holy fire, and possesses considerable physical strength. It is noted in one of her conversations that her scales are particularly durable after thousands of years of aging and battle.

She also has some skill with magic, horseback riding, wyvern riding, and melee weaponry.

First Person:

[ Tiki has been here for several hours. At some point, she finds herself alone and collecting herself. At some point, she finds herself skimming through the strange book she found on her person. She had been told what it is used for; given everything else she has learned, the book’s abilities are the easiest to believe and the only thing so far she finds harmless.

Curious, she decides to write in it to see if it is all true.

I’ve spent the better part of an hour staring at this page, trying my best to think of something to write. If it’s not true that others can see what I write here, then I will feel very silly.

[ For anyone with an item that would show handwriting rather than text, her writing is neat and detailed. Very careful and meticulous. ]

I doubt I can say much of anything that those who have been here have not already read a hundred times over from a hundred other people.

I don’t think I care much for this. It is far too impersonal!

But I will introduce myself. My name is Tiki. There is little to say of myself, so I will end this by saying I hope to meet as many of you as possible. Opportunities to make friends are few and far between for myself, so I hope to do just that.
